Regarding the christmas lights setup, I do a line of icicle lights along the front gutter, wrap some multicolored lights around some garland and hang it along our fences and around our front windows, and a light up wreath between garage doors.

As of late, I've been on a Crusader Kings II binge. Anyone who wants to hit the ground running is better off playing in Ireland. It's a pretty secluded part of the map and the time invested in building from a single Duke of a County to a full blown Kingdom is worth it. The best angle to go about it is to play as the Duke of Dublin or Leinster. You can try any part of the map as you see fit, but a hint: England is going to give you a real workout, so might want to wait to play with the English until you're experienced enough at the game to get by.

Let's see...I also fired Final Fantasy XIII back up cause I am a trophy whore and I need to finish this game. Even though my new slew of holiday titles (Dishonored, Borderlands 2, Skyrim, and the Ratchet & Clank Trilogy) for my PS3 will demand some attention soon.

And then for show watching, I'm caught up with Vampire Diaries, finished Dexter and Homeland, pouring through Doctor Who and Red Dwarf at long last, and realized why Andromeda had so much potential for a show of its time and fell short after Season 3. A couple of episodes into Season 3, it makes me realize that even potentially great sci-fi shows can collapse in on themselves when some things are done wrong.
